Firstly, I will say a very big congratulations and a happy new month. Welcome to the month of March. The month of March is a significant month; it is the third month of the year with a compelling name,
‘MARCH’. Many people ascribe a lot of spirituality to this month and every other month too.
I’m sure your phones must have been filled with several good luck and happy new month messages from friends and loved ones.
On the first, people remember each other, and after the first of the month they go about their businesses.
Aside wishing each other prosperity and a month to march on, have you checked on your new year’s resolutions?
Are you smashing the goals you set? Or its been an epic fail and you’ve dumped all your plans and dreams.
Well, I am here to tell you that it’s ok to fall, but staying in that position is the problem. We are all sojourners on earth, fighting our battles and understanding the mysteries of life each day.
You know, when life throws you lemon, you make LEMONADES.
How many lemonades have you made?
Have you noticed that it’s easier to quit. So also it’s easy to destroy than to build.
What is hindering you from building? You feel you are not good enough, you feel you don’t have enough money to start, start with what you have. Little rain drops make mighty oceans.
Do not compare your life with people on the gram. The internet is full of fake lives. No need for high blood pressure over fake things. Life is in turns, and one day you’ll get your happy ever after if you don’t quit now. Quitters never win and winners never quit.
As you march on in this new month, learn to be content. Contentment doesn’t mean you shouldn’t dream big, it means being happy with what you have and striving to get more genuinely.
Leave Jealousy and envy for January and February. It’s in the past, so let it go. New Month, New You!
Furthermore, set your priorities straight. Don’t choose a want over a necessity. I saw a skit where a lady was contemplating buying an apple watch over paying her house rent when she could clearly not afford. Cut your cloth according to your size.
Below are useful tips to guide your financial plan as you March on:
- Make a timetable (and stick to it).
- If you have a partner or roommate, plan the budget together especially on shared expenditures
- Consistently is extraordinary. Inculcate the habit.
- Start with the main items. Use the scale of prefrence
- Ensure you are debt free. If you are owing, pay it off
- Don’t be hesitant to manage the financial plan, make changes and substract.
- Keep tabs on how you effectively follow the plan.
Do this and you are sure heading in the right direction of achieving your goals. #NewMonthBlessings
