I believe this is a suitable topic, love and all.. I mean we are in the count to the world`s biggest love event, valentine. Love is in the air, #love_nwantiti. So while you are worrying about valentine and every thing it entails, let us at this end spice your day with gossip happenings and the end less debate of genders.

His words were and I quote: Wahala. This guy is really serious. He is marrying ladies to save them from Nigerian economy. We all know how the Nigerian economy leads to desperation and depression. And there is a quote which states that “desperate times call for desperate measures”. Thus as a result of hard times you have seen girls with potentials, and virtues subjecting them selves to prostitution just to make ends meet.

Due to this reason and probably his massive love for ladies, Ned Nwoko has desired to be the messiah.

Mind you I do not criticize him and his motive, who I be? He has money to feed all of them and the offspring they will bring to the world.

So my question is do you agree with him, do you criticize him? I mean if you or probably your sister was in need of a good life, and Ned Nwoko is the answer, will you grab it? You shaking your head or not? This guy is a multi billionaire, a sugar daddy to the core. His fifth wife posted the car he gave her for her 30th birthday, it was mad Ooooo!

SO WHAT IS IT GOING TO BE? A lot of people will kill for this opportunity, others will not consider it. There are some ladies that may have obviously rejected Ned at one point in time. There are girls like that.

On the hand, most parents will pressure their daughters to be in a polygamous marriage if the guy is well to do. I mean a lot of parents who still arrange marriage for their children in this century. Just recently, a close friend of mine and I was discussing; a former class mate of his at the age of eighteen had already been given a wife by his parents. So, imagine if Ned Nwoko approached the daughter of such parents, I mean even if it is 21st wife, just go and marry.

All the ladies crying on their social media pages that they want to sugar daddy, and all. Ned Nwoko is the real deal. Just send him a DM, and he will get back to you. Please do not mind me.

Well Ned Nwoko’s statement did cause a lot of reactions, back and forth. I mean guys were stating that he should leave ladies for them. My guys weak!

Some argued whether having too much money warranted marrying a lot of ladies. On the opposition people argued that if such rich guys could handle the pressure and the billing, why not? If could house all of them, cater their shopping expenses, take care of the in laws, then my guy, carry go.

However of all these reactions, two were very prominent. Lets discuss them under their own heading:

LOYALTY.

In this category, on one side people argued that men should show a level of loyalty to their first wives, by not taking another wife. They based their arguments on the ground that this lady has been with the man through thick and thin. Most first wives are usually the back bone to their man`s success. He marries her when he was poor, she stayed with him, supported him, and when he has achieved success, boom, his polygamous nature comes out! This is bull shit according to these persons. They argue that the man should stay with that woman. He wrote a vow to her, for better and for once. Only you forever.

On the other hand, we have those who argue that a man should be free to take other wives. They base their argument on the grounds that body no be fire wood! Or that you knew that the man was a womanizer, and you married. So take it as you see it.
To be honest, this idea of loyalty has caused a lot of issues from murder- there was a case of a lady who stabbed her husband sixteen times, because he cheated on her. it has also, led to spells and all that stuff we see in Nollywood.

Most ladies ensure that they control the mans wealth, when they know his polygamous nature is about to rear his head. Some leave the marriage, and they are usually lashed that why they did not stay back and fight for her position.

Some just advise that men fear ladies! According to someone, a lady could make you or break you, your choice.

Women in power.

This was the other reaction sparked of by Ned Nwoko`s statement. There was a drift to the idea of woman in power and independent woman trend. Well this on its own led to some salient observation, and reactions.

First, why is that women in power are either really strict or out rightly wicked. Think of it, female invigilators were always the strictest. As in aunty why? However, it is believed that they feel they will be looked down upon if they do not deal with an iron hand. Okay oh, sister you are doing well!

Also there was the criticism of the independent woman trend. People wondered why if a woman was independent she still subscribed to my money is my money, your money is our money. Why not the other way round. You still dey bill your guy, and you they should independent woman no. 1 for status, aunty well don oh, was the caption.

I leave you to ponder this question: will you prefer a beautiful/handsome girl or guy, one you could you know, take out and pepper them, but he/she is poor or a girl/guy who you consider not attractable but rich. What is it going to be?
